We are glad to announce that our registration for our 2nd annual back to school field day is open. We were able to impact over 500 families last year. That’s close to 1500 people that we were able to connect with. We are wanting to make sure that families know about the opportunities that are available to their children when it comes to education and resources. I’ve spoken with many school leaders and charter school leaders and recruitment is always something everyone wants to grow in. Some schools want to reach a demographic that they are normally about to connect with. Here is your chance to reach them in person. Parents are looking for schools that fit their child’s needs and you are that school. Community partners, we are reaching out to you for collaboration. We want to offer you a place to do your back to school bash. This is a chance for you to meet the other organizations that share the same invested interest as you. We are a community of impact agents but we don't know each other. This is a free chance to serve. Back to school will never look the same since Lyrik’s Institution, Emmanuel Family & Child Development, and the Know Joey Foundation came together. We believe that back to school should be as exciting as a feature artist coming to the city for a festival. We can’t talk about making a back to school festival like, we have to bring it to life. That is what we are doing! Register today to be a part of this back to school give away.
Come out and receive free school supplies, groceries, health screenings ,mammograms, flag football, volleyball, bounce houses, kickball, obstacle courses, and so much more. But that isn't all, we partnered with the Know Joey Foundation and their Fresh Cut, Fresh Start program to offer all our young adults a chance to get a free haircut the day before they return back to school. It’s all as easy as clicking the registration button and coming out August 20 and 21, 2002 from 10am to 2pm. Can’t wait to see you there! |
