Lyrik’s institution centers on behavior modification, while allowing our young adults to intern in a respected field. While we do focus on the creative arts, we realize that every young adult will not prosper in that vocation. So, we changed our mentorship program into an internship program. Here we offer young adults the chance to learn soft skills such as job etiquette, critical thinking, conflict resolution and accountability, perception, effective communication, vulnerability, solarization, solution focused behaviors, emotional intelligence, goal and process setting. Its these critical skills that lay a foundation for our young adults to thrive once they get the hard skills training. But we don’t stop there, we pair the interns with respected business owners in the field of their choice. So, they don’t only get the soft skills and the training, they get a chance to learn the wisdom of their career choice from someone thriving in that industry.
